Splatter jacket: development brief

Develop a splatter jacket with an all-over black, white and grey splash effect, folded collar and full front zipper. The references show angled zipped pockets, roomy sleeves and gathered-looking cuffs and lower edge. Close-ups reveal both pale mottled areas and finer dark marks across the shell.

Define your own splash artwork or finish standard, including mark density and acceptable variation. The photos do not establish hand painting, printing, canvas construction, cotton content or a particular wash process. Approve fabric, application method and trim compatibility through sampling.

Confirm the final composition, weight, measurements and production methods through an approved specification and physical sample. Use original or authorized artwork for your own collection.

Splatter jacket: buyer questions

Can the splatter jacket use our own marks and colors?

Provide original artwork or a physical finish reference, desired mark size, density and color balance. Define whether the effect should repeat precisely or allow controlled variation between garments.

Is the effect hand-painted, printed or washed?

The photos do not confirm the method. Compare feasible processes for the sourced shell, then approve the finished appearance, hand feel, flexibility and care results on a trial sample.

Can the zipped pockets hold a phone?

Specify opening length, pocket-bag dimensions and required capacity. Check access, pocket load and zipper operation on the sample, including with the jacket worn and seated.

Can the cuffs and hem be less gathered?

Provide finished cuff and hem dimensions, band material and stretch requirements. Review chest, shoulder, sleeve and body measurements together to control the relaxed silhouette.

How do we check cracking, fading and zipper contamination?

Agree care and flexing checks suited to the approved application. Inspect artwork appearance, color transfer, dimensional change and trim operation; confirm that the finish does not obstruct zipper teeth or pocket openings.

What determines MOQ, cost and production time?

Shell sourcing, artwork setup or finish development, variation requirements, pocket construction, zippers, size quantities and packing affect the quote. Confirm sample scope and the bulk schedule.
